Krishna Plastics

Krishna Plastics is located at C-1/9 in the Gidc Estate. It’s not a huge place, just a standard industrial unit where we keep the machines running. We make plastic items that people need. Most of the time, the floor is covered in small pellets or offcuts, but we clean up every evening. It’s a loud place when the molders are going. I’ve been working here so long I don’t even hear the noise anymore. We have a small team of local guys who know the machines well. We don’t have a website or anything like that. Most people just know us through word of mouth in the estate. If you walk past, you’ll see the bags of raw material stacked up by the door. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes when a big order comes in, it gets a bit chaotic for a few days. We don't mind. It means we stay busy. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend our breaks. It’s a good community here in Gidc. We help each other out if a machine breaks down or if someone needs to borrow a tool. We aren’t looking to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make good products that don't break. That’s enough for us. It keeps the lights on and the families fed. We usually open the shutters around eight and keep going until the work is finished for the day.
