New Raghuveer Saw Mill

We run the New Raghuveer Saw Mill out in Kavitha village, which is in the Borsad Taluka. You can find us near the bus station road. It’s a dusty place because of all the wood we are cutting all day long. The smell of sawdust is something you never really get used to, but it’s part of the job. We have been here in Kavitha for a long time, and everyone in the village knows where the mill is. It’s not a high-tech operation. We have the saws and the equipment we need to process the timber that comes in. Most of our day is spent handling logs and making sure the cuts are right. It’s physical work and your back definitely feels it by the end of the day. We don't have a website or any fancy social media. People just drive their tractors or trucks up to the mill when they need something done. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common in this part of the country, and we just have to wait it out. We aren't looking to become some giant corporation. We just want to keep the mill running and serve the people around Borsad. It’s a simple life out here near the bus station, and we like it that way. There is always wood to move and machines to oil, so we don't have much free time during the day.
