Our branch is located at No. 9 and 10 in the Maruti Sarnam Complex. It is right on the Vijaynagar Road, not far from the Sankalp restaurant and Vallabh. If you are driving by, you probably see the traffic getting stuck near our entrance a lot. It is a busy spot. We handle a lot of the luggage and industrial items that come through this side of town. The units are basically large rooms filled with stock from floor to ceiling. Most of my day is spent checking the manifests and making sure the loading crew knows which pile is going where. It is a lot of physical work, especially when the weather is humid. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just some old calendars and the duty shifts posted up. The noise from the road is constant, so you have to speak up if you want to be heard over the trucks. Sometimes we grab lunch at one of the small places nearby, or we just eat at our desks if there is a big delivery coming in. It is a straightforward operation without any bells or whistles. We just focus on keeping the inventory moving and making sure nothing gets lost in the warehouse. It gets messy during the monsoon when the rain blows into the loading area, but we just mop it up and keep going. We have been here for a few years now.
