If you head down to Nadiad and look behind the Hanuman Vrandama, you’ll find us. We are right there by the Swami Narayan Mandir. It’s a very quiet and peaceful spot, mostly because of the temple being so close. People come by the mandir all the time, and we end up seeing a lot of familiar faces from around Kheda and the rest of Gujarat. The foundation has been sitting here for some time now. We have a simple setup. It’s mostly just a few rooms where we sit and figure out how to help the folks who come through our doors. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we try to keep it tidy. Nadiad is a good place to be. You get to know the locals, and they know where to find us if they need anything. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s more of a place where you can just walk in and talk to someone. The bells from the temple ring throughout the day, which is a nice background sound while we work. We handle a lot of different things for the welfare of the community here. Most days are just spent listening to people or sorting through requests. It’s not complicated work, but it keeps us on our feet. We like being part of the neighborhood here and seeing how things change over the seasons.
