Sunil Electricals Panel Works

Sunil Electricals Panel Works operates out of Plot No. 45 in Phase-1 of the GIDC in V U Nagar. It’s a decent-sized plot, and we’ve been here for quite a few years now. The main thing we do is put together electrical panels. It involves a lot of wiring, bending metal sheets, and staring at diagrams. The workshop is always full of steel frames waiting to be filled with breakers and switches. We don’t have a big corporate team; it’s just a handful of us who know how to handle the wiring. The lighting inside isn't the best, so we usually keep the big shutter open to let the sunlight in. It helps with the fine work. We’re tucked away in Phase-1, which is a bit older than the newer sections, so the roads are a little rough. Our neighbors are mostly small engineering firms. Sometimes we share a truck if we’re both sending stuff out to the same city. The phone rings a lot with people asking about their orders, and we just tell them how it is. We don't use fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in notebooks. When the monsoon hits, the roof leaks a bit in the corner, but we just move the panels out of the way. It’s a practical place for people who like working with their hands. We just try to get the panels finished and out the door by the end of the week.
