Silverline Exporters Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. 177 in the first phase of the GIDC in Vithal Udyognagar. If you know Anand, you know this industrial area is quite busy. Our place is a standard factory setup where we focus on getting goods ready for export. It’s not a clean or quiet environment. There is always the sound of packing machines and people shouting over the noise. We have a small office tucked into the corner of the building, but most of the action happens on the floor where the goods are being checked and crated. The roads around here can get pretty bad when it rains, with big puddles that the trucks splash through. We don’t have any fancy marketing materials or a dedicated sales person. Usually, it’s just us answering the phone and coordinating with the shipping agents. It’s a lot of work to keep track of all the different requirements for shipping things overseas. We often stay late when a container needs to be filled by the next morning. My brother handles the books in a small room that’s usually too cold because of the small AC unit he has. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the products are made correctly and they get to where they need to go without any damage. It’s just a regular life in the industrial estate. We take it one day at a time.
