Uma Clinic

Setting up Uma Clinic at the Asodar Cross Roads was a practical choice since so many people pass by here on Vasad Road. It’s a busy junction and there is always something going on outside the window. We’ve been serving the Asodar area for quite some time now. The clinic isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do. We mostly see local families and people traveling through who need a quick look at a scratch or a cough. It gets a bit loud with the trucks shifting gears at the crossroads, but you get used to the rhythm of the traffic after a week or two. I spend most of my day in the exam room while the front desk handles the paperwork. It’s a lot of writing and filing, nothing too exciting. We don’t have those fancy digital check-in screens; we just use a pen and a notebook mostly. It works for us. The tea stall across the road is where I get my morning break. We don't have a big mission statement or anything. We just open the doors and help whoever walks in. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit stuffy when it's crowded, but we open the windows to let the breeze in. It’s just a regular local spot for health stuff and we plan on staying right here.
