We are located on Suthar Street in Changa. It’s in the Anand district of Gujarat. Being in a place like Changa is different from being in a big city. It’s a bit slower here, and everyone knows everyone. Suthar Street is where we have our setup for Sthapati Interiors Pvt. Ltd. We do interior work, and because we are in a smaller town, we handle a bit of everything. The office is part of the workshop area, so you can always hear the sound of saws or hammers in the background. It smells like sawdust and glue most of the time. We don't have a polished showroom. If you want to see what we do, you just look at the projects we are currently working on. It’s a very hands-on type of business. We spend our days talking to local craftsmen and making sure the furniture is being built right. Anand is known for a lot of things, but for us, it’s just home. We work with the materials we can get and try to make things that last. It’s not about being trendy or following every new style. We just want to make stuff that people can actually use in their houses. There’s no big corporate vibe here. We just open the doors in the morning and stay until the work for the day is done. It’s a quiet life but we stay busy with the orders that come through.
