At Shri Krishna Hospital & Medical Collage, things are always moving. We are located in Gokal Nagar, which is in the Anand district. Specifically, we are in the Karamsad area of Gujarat. They are the students from the collage part. Then there are the patients sitting in the corridors of Gokal Nagar. It’s usually quite warm here, so the windows are always open to let a breeze in. We have a lot of rooms and it can be a bit like a maze if you don’t know your way around. The address is 388325 for those who need to send us letters. We have been part of Karamsad for a long time. It’s not like those shiny new hospitals in the big cities. We have wooden desks and old filing cabinets. The floor is made of hard stone that stays cool. Most days are loud with people talking and bells ringing. It’s a busy life here in Gokal Nagar. We just try to help whoever walks through the door. There is a small garden area out back where people sometimes sit under the trees when the hospital gets too cramped inside. The gate is usually open from very early in the morning.
