Shree Janta Ice Cream

Being here in Anand, everyone knows all about dairy and milk products. Shree Janta Ice Cream is just our small part of that local culture. We have been here for a good while now. It is a very straightforward setup. We do not have those big fancy digital menus like you see in the big malls. It is just me and one helper most days of the week. We keep the freezers packed tight with stock. Anand can get pretty crowded, especially during the festival season. During those busy times, we barely have time to sit down or take a break. But on normal days, the pace is just steady and quiet. I really like the routine of it. I wake up, open the heavy shutters, and check the machines first thing. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and I have to wait around for an hour or two. That is just how things go in this business. People in town know where we are located. We do not need to put up big posters or pay for ads. Word of mouth is usually enough for a place like ours. It is a lot of manual work, lifting heavy crates and making sure everything stays frozen solid. My hands are always cold from touching the ice. It is a decent living for us. We have seen the town grow and change around us, but we just keep doing this. We try to keep the place tidy and open on time.
