Sharmafurniture is located right near the water tank in the New Satyam Society in Mogri, over by Anand. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, and the neighborhood knows us well. It is a straightforward furniture shop where we spend most of our time among wood shavings and the smell of varnish. We don't have a massive, air-conditioned showroom with spotlights. Instead, we have a workshop area and a space where we keep the finished pieces so people can see them. Most days are spent cutting timber, sanding down surfaces, and putting things together by hand. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the day. We make all sorts of things, from simple stools to bigger cupboards, depending on what people ask for. Sometimes a piece takes longer than expected because the wood isn't behaving or we want to get the finish just right. We aren't a big factory; it's just a few of us who know how to handle tools. If you walk in, you’ll see us working right there. We don't have fancy catalogs or a sales team. We just show people what we’ve made or talk about what they need for their homes. It’s a local business through and through, and we like being part of the Mogri community. We just focus on making solid furniture that lasts. Sometimes the tea breaks are the best part of the day, honestly.
