Shah Bags

Our shop is at number 6 in Aman Avenue. We are right next to the Nimbuwala Complex on Krishna Road. If you know where the National Cycle Store is, we’re just a few steps away from there. It’s a handy location for people who are already out doing their shopping. We keep a lot of different bags in stock, from small purses to large suitcases. The shop isn't very wide, so we have to use all the wall space right up to the ceiling. We use a long pole to reach the bags that are hung up high. It’s a bit of a workout. Krishna Road is always full of energy, and we get a lot of foot traffic from the nearby stores. We’ve been operating here for a good amount of time. It’s just a simple business. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just the shop floor and a small desk in the back. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the front for a bit, which is a bit of a headache, but we manage. We like being near the cycle store because everyone knows that landmark. Most of our customers come from the local neighborhoods around the avenue. We try to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone who walks in. It’s a good way to spend the day, meeting different people.
