Janki Chemicals is situated at 85, Sardar Bhavan, Sardar Gunj, right in the heart of the market area. It’s a busy place with a lot of people moving around all the time. We’ve been here for years, and the building, Sardar Bhavan, has seen a lot of history. We handle different kinds of chemicals for various uses. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to us for a long time. They know where we are, so we don't need to change much. The space is filled with barrels and bags, and there’s always that specific smell of the products we keep in stock. It’s not a fancy shop, just a functional one. We spend our days checking inventory and talking to the delivery guys. Sardar Gunj is always humming with activity, especially in the mornings when everyone is opening up their shops. We get our fair share of sun in the afternoon. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside when it's quiet. We aren't a big corporation, just a small operation trying to get the orders right. The ledgers are mostly hand-written because that's how we've always done it. It’s reliable for us. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Sardar Bhavan. We share news and sometimes help each other out with unloading. It’s a tight-knit community here. We just try to provide what people need without any fuss.
