Sangita Cloth Store

Sangita Cloth Store is our shop, and you can find us at Shop Number 35 in Janta Bazar. We are very close to the bus stop which makes it convenient for people traveling from different parts of the city to reach us without walking too far. Janta Bazar is a lively place and being near the bus stand means there is a constant flow of people walking past our door all day. It can get quite noisy with the buses and the shouting of the conductors but we have grown to like the atmosphere over the years. We sell all kinds of cloth and we keep our shelves packed with whatever is currently available. The shop itself is a modest size and we have to be clever about how we stack the rolls of fabric to make sure everything fits inside. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than two or three people are inside at once but nobody seems to mind much because they are looking for something specific. We are just local shopkeepers doing our best to provide what the community needs. There are no fancy lights or polished floors here just the smell of new fabric and the sound of the market outside. We have been in Janta Bazar for many years and we have seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood but our store stays pretty much the same. We spend our days here helping folks find the right material for their clothes.
