Sachchidanand Dada Bhagwan Charitable Foundation

We are based at B-45 in the Haryhur Society, which is in the village of Khambhat. That is over in the Anand district for those who do not know this area well. It is a quiet residential society and we like it that way. The Sachchidanand Dada Bhagwan Charitable Foundation has been here for a good while. We do not have a corporate office with glass walls. We just have a regular house that we use for our daily work. It feels more comfortable for the people who come to visit us. Most of the people we help are from the local villages around Khambhat. We know their names and we know their families. It is a very close-knit community. We don't use any of that marketing talk about changing the world. We just focus on what needs to be done today. Maybe it is helping someone with a medical bill or organizing a small gathering for the elderly folks in the society. The work is steady and it never really stops. We have tea together in the afternoons and talk about what we can do better. Sometimes the weather is too hot and we have to slow down, but we always get back to it. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just a group of people in Anand who want to help our neighbors. If you are ever in the Haryhur Society, you can just knock on the door. We are usually there working on something or other.
