S Mira Provision Store

My family and I run S Mira Provision Store right here in Petlad. If you know the area, we are at Shop No - G-5, which is basically just a short walk from the main bus stop. Being so close to the station means we see a lot of different faces every day. People are always rushing to catch a ride and they pop in for a quick snack or something they forgot to buy earlier. We carry the basic stuff everyone needs for their kitchen and house. It’s a small space, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves. Sometimes it’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. District Anand has a lot of these little shops, and we are just one of them trying to get by. We don't have any big corporate backing or a fancy marketing plan. We just open the shutters in the morning and start our day. Some days are slow, especially when the weather is bad, but usually, there’s enough work to keep us on our feet. We handle everything from stocking the bags of grain to cleaning the floors at night. It is hard work but it is what we know. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. Most people in the neighborhood know where to find us if they run out of milk or sugar. It’s just a normal local store.
