Rock On The Fashion Revolution

You can find us at Rock On The Fashion Revolution, tucked into No. 101 inside the Siddhi Sarjan Complex. It’s a small shop, but we fit a lot into it. We started this because we needed something to do and we liked clothes. The complex is usually busy with people going to the other offices, so we see a lot of faces. It’s not a revolution like the name says, maybe just a bit of a bold choice for a title. We spend most of our mornings unpacking boxes and hanging things up. The air conditioning in the complex works okay, but sometimes it gets stuffy when the sun hits the front window. We have a couple of mirrors and some racks we bought second-hand. It’s a simple setup. We don’t do any big advertising, people just walk in. Sometimes we sit on the stools behind the counter and talk about what to order next. The neighbor from the tea stall comes by every afternoon. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the piles of fabric get a bit messy in the back room. It’s just how it is when you’re working with clothes all day. We’ve been here at Siddhi Sarjan for a bit now and we know the other shop owners well. It’s a decent place to spend the day. Nothing too crazy happens, we just sell what we have and go home. Usually, we close up around eight and head back to our families to eat dinner.
