Patel Beverages is found at Plot No-A-4/238 in V. V. Nagar, which is inside the Gidc area. Working in an industrial zone like this means there is always noise and movement around us. We’ve been in the beverage business for a long time. It’s mostly about managing stock and making sure the bottles get moved out on time. The warehouse is big and can get quite chilly or very hot depending on the season. We don't have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you’ll probably find us near the loading dock or checking the inventory lists. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, even if we have some extra help. We started out with one small truck and a few local routes. Now we cover a bit more ground, but the core of what we do hasn't changed much. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about the business. There’s always some machine that needs fixing or a route that needs changing because of roadworks. We just take it as it comes. It’s hard work, especially during the summer months when everyone is thirsty and the orders double. But we like the pace. Being in V. V. Nagar has been good for us because all the other businesses around here understand the daily grind. We just keep our heads down and keep the crates moving out the door every single day. It is what we do and we stay busy.
