We operate out of an old building called Sakina Manzil on Paramount Street here in Anand. It’s number 46, and you’ll find it right on Polson Road, which is a place that most locals know quite well. The building has a lot of character, and even though it’s not a modern glass tower, it suits what we do just fine. There’s something about working in a place with a name like that that makes it feel more established. Inside, it’s a typical office setup with desks shoved into the available spaces and stacks of folders that never seem to go away. We spend our days mostly managing the logistics of our operations and keeping in touch with the other branches. The street outside can get pretty noisy with the traffic in Anand, but once you’re inside Sakina Manzil, it feels a bit more secluded. We have a small group of people working here who have been around for years, so we’ve become a bit of a tight-knit crew. We don’t go in for anything flashy; the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture is a bit mismatched, but it’s functional. We like the fact that we’re right in the middle of town where we can walk out and grab a quick snack or run an errand without needing a car. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay productive and keep things moving.
