Optilab

We’ve been here at the Dr. Khaneria Hospital Building for a while now. If you head down Station Road, you’ll find us right inside. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of the hospital, so there is always someone coming or going. Optilab isn't a fancy place with big signs. We just do our work. Most days it’s about getting things right the first time. The post office box is 77 if you're sending us anything by mail. It gets a bit loud outside with the traffic from the station, but it’s a good location for people to find us. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. Sometimes the coffee machine acts up in the morning, which makes the start of the day a bit slow. We handle a lot of different tasks throughout the week. It’s mostly routine stuff, checking equipment or looking over results. We try to keep things simple here. No one wears fancy suits. We just wear what’s comfortable for working in a lab setting. The building itself has some history to it. You get used to the smell of the hospital after a while. We’ve known the neighbors for years. If you’re looking for us, just ask anyone on Station Road and they’ll probably point you toward the hospital. It’s a straightforward setup. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. Most of the day is hands-on.
