Nilkanth Electronics

Our shop is right on the main road over in Bakrol. Being so close to the Shri Swaminarayan Mandir means there is always some kind of noise or activity happening outside. The traffic on Vadtal Road can get really loud, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. We have been here at Nilkanth Electronics for quite a long time. Most of our day is spent hunched over circuit boards or dealing with various gadgets. It is a small space, and honestly, it is usually packed with boxes and spare parts. We do not have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It is mostly just a practical workspace where we do the actual repairs. The people in the neighborhood know us pretty well by now. Sometimes folks just stop in to ask for directions to the temple because we are a landmark for them. We do not mind helping out. We try to keep the shop organized, but it is a constant battle with all the small electronic components everywhere. Vidyanagar is a good area to be based in. We get a real mix of people coming through the door, from students to older residents. It is a lot of hard work, but we like being part of the local scene. It is definitely not like working in a polished corporate office. It is a real shop where things get messy and things get fixed. We stay late quite often. That is just how life is for us here.
