Navrang Kala Vrund

This is Navrang Kala Vrund, and we are based out of a space in Sakrula Nagar Society. Specifically, we are at number 104 on Vijor Road here in Umreth. It’s more of a community-focused spot than a proper office building. We deal with traditional arts and performances, so there are often costumes or instruments sitting around the room. The 388220 area of Anand is a quiet place, and our society is mostly residential. We don't have big neon signs or a front desk. Mostly, it's just a place where we meet up to discuss upcoming folk dances or local programs we are part of. Sometimes the neighbors might hear a bit of drumming or singing when we are practicing, but they are used to us by now. We’ve been in Umreth for a long time. People know to come to Vijor Road if they need to talk to us about a cultural event. The room is a bit old and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but it has a lot of character. We don't really do the whole corporate thing. We are just a group of people who enjoy the local culture and want to keep it going. It’s a lot of organizing and making sure everyone knows where to be and what to wear. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we always manage to make the show happen in the end.
