Napdcl Kisan Parivar Foundation

Napdcl Kisan Parivar Foundation is over at H.NO.6-3-634 in Anand Nagar. It is a house, really. We spend a lot of time thinking about the farmers and their families because that is what the Kisan Parivar is all about. Anand Nagar is a busy neighborhood but our street stays mostly calm. You can hear the city noises in the distance. The building is older, with those heavy doors that creak when you open them. We don't have a receptionist in a suit. Usually, one of us just looks up from a desk and says hello. There are stacks of files everywhere because we handle a lot of different things for the community. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know the shopkeepers nearby and they know us. The address is easy to find if you know the house numbers in this part of Anand Nagar. We don't do much advertising or anything flashy. People just find us through word of mouth mostly. We keep the windows open when the weather is nice to let a breeze in. It makes the long afternoons feel a bit shorter. If you come by, you’ll see we are just regular folks working out of a regular house. It’s practical and it works for us and the local families.
