We work out of the Noapara area in Barasat, right on Vivekananda Road. The office is actually care of Sri Basanta Chatterjee’s place. It is a very local West Bengal setting in the North 24 Parganas district. We focus on engineering work, mostly technical stuff that requires a lot of calculation and site visits. Being in Noapara means we are a bit away from the main hustle of Kolkata, which is nice for concentrating on drawings and plans. The building is an older style, typical for this part of Barasat. We have a small team of engineers and helpers who have been together for a few years. It is not a polished corporate environment. We have stacks of blueprints and some old computers that still work fine for what we need. The humidity in West Bengal can be tough on the paperwork, so we try to keep things organized in plastic folders. We do not do much marketing because our work usually comes from people who have seen what we did on previous jobs. It is about getting the technical details right so the construction goes smoothly. We are just regular people who happen to know a lot about engineering. We take our work seriously but do not feel the need to dress it up in fancy language. Most days we are just busy checking figures and making sure the project timelines are being met.
