Jitodiya Primary School

Jitodiya Primary School is located right on the Borsad Road in the Jitodia area of Anand. It’s a small primary school, so we mostly deal with younger kids who are just starting out. The building is simple, just enough rooms for the different classes we run. Being in Anand, we are surrounded by a lot of greenery and open space, which is nice for the students. The road outside can get a bit busy with trucks and buses, but inside the school compound, it’s mostly just the sound of kids reciting their lessons. We don’t have a big staff. It’s just a few of us who take care of everything from teaching to keeping the place clean. We know most of the families in Jitodia because their older kids probably came here too. It’s a very close-knit community. We don’t have any fancy computers or a big library, just the essential books and a few posters on the walls to help the kids learn. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains heavily, but we just move the desks and keep going. It’s not a perfect place, but it’s ours, and we just focus on helping the little ones learn their first words and numbers. Every morning we open the gates, sweep the front, and wait for the kids to arrive. It’s a good, simple life for us here on Borsad Road, and we are used to the routine.
