Icar

We’ve been based out here in Vasad at the research centre for quite some time now. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from the main city, but it’s actually quite peaceful once you get used to the surroundings. Working at Icar means we spend a lot of our days dealing with the practical side of things. It isn't a fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Mostly, it’s just us and the land. You see a lot of people coming and going, mostly folks who are interested in what the soil is doing or how the crops are holding up this season. The Cswcrti grounds are pretty big, and we occupy a small corner of it where we just get on with our tasks. Some days are slow, especially when the weather isn’t cooperating, and other days are just a blur of activity. We don't really do much in the way of big announcements or anything. We just show up, do the work that needs doing, and head home. It’s a local kind of life. There’s a tea stall nearby where we usually end up talking about the day's work. It’s just how things have always been here. We’ve seen the seasons change many times from this spot, and honestly, we don't plan on being anywhere else. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the year without needing to make a big fuss about it.
