Gujarat Masala & Food Products

We set up shop in Anand Nagar, specifically in the Kansa N.A area. It’s a busy part of town and we fit right in with the other small businesses around here. We deal with various food products and masalas. Most of our day is spent checking the stock and making sure we have enough of everything. The warehouse isn't the biggest, so we have to be careful with how we stack the boxes. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we sort it out eventually. We aren't some massive corporation with hundreds of workers. It’s just a handful of us making sure things get done. We talk to the suppliers and the local shopkeepers who buy from us. It’s a lot of back and forth on the phone. The area around Anand Nagar is always loud with traffic, so we usually have the radio playing to drown it out. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. We just rely on the fact that we've been here a while and people know our name. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, do the work, and go home. Some days are slow, especially when it's really hot outside and nobody wants to move. But we stay open. It’s just the way it is for us here at Gujarat Masala. We just keep the inventory moving and the customers happy enough.
