Russian Paints

Russian Paints is situated at Plot No. 61. It is a simple place where we spend most of our time mixing pigments and dealing with base liquids. You can tell what we do just by looking at the floor and the clothes of the workers, as there are splashes of different colors everywhere. It is not a clean, white-lab kind of environment. It is a real factory where things get spilled and the smell of solvent is always hanging in the air. We have been at Plot 61 for quite some time now, and the building shows its age a little bit, but it does the job. There is no big marketing team here trying to come up with clever names for things. We just make the paint and put it into the cans. Sometimes the machines act up or we run low on a specific dye, and we have to scramble to get things back on track. It is a small operation, so everyone knows everyone else’s business. We have a small desk for paperwork, but mostly the action happens out on the floor where the mixers are. It is loud and it can be a bit chaotic when several orders are being filled at once, but we like the pace of it. We are just a local spot making paint for whoever needs it. Nothing more than that, just paints and hard work at Plot 61.
