Our shop, Vishwas Banners Ads., is located right opposite the Municipal Shopping Center at 4 Radhaswami Sujan. Being near the Ice Factory in Gamdivad makes it easy for people to find us, even though the address repeats the shopping center part twice on our official documents. It’s a busy part of town. We spend our days surrounded by the smell of vinyl and ink. There’s always a printer running somewhere in the background, making that humming sound. We do all kinds of banners and advertisements for local shops and events. Sometimes the designs are simple, and other times they are a bit more complicated, but we just take it as it comes. The space is a bit cramped because of all the rolls of material stacked against the walls. We have a small table where we cut everything to the right size. It’s usually a mess of scraps by the end of the day. We don't really have a front desk, just a counter where we talk to customers. People usually just walk in with an idea, and we try to get it printed for them. The traffic outside is always moving, and sometimes it’s hard to hear the phone ringing when the trucks go by. We’ve been at this for a while now. It’s not a glamorous job, but seeing the banners hanging up feels okay. We just keep the machines maintained and handle the orders.
