Flovel Valves Pvt. Ltd. is located at unit 1110 in the GIDC area of V.U. Nagar. If you know the industrial zone, you know it's a lot of metal and concrete. Our shop floor is usually covered in shavings and oil because that is the nature of making valves. It’s a hands-on kind of job. Most of us here have been working with tools for years. We don't wear suits to work; we wear clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. The day starts early, usually before the sun gets too high, because the sheds can get pretty warm in the afternoon. We have a bunch of lathes and machines that have been with us for a long time. They aren't the newest models, but they work perfectly fine if you know how to treat them. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the threads are just right. If a valve doesn't fit, it's no good, so we pay attention to those details. We talk more about the machines than anything else. There is a small area where we keep the finished stock before it gets loaded onto the trucks. It isn't a high-tech operation, just a lot of hard work and staying on top of the orders. V.U. Nagar is a good spot for us because everything we need is close by. We just focus on our own tasks and try to get the orders out on time every week without drama.
