Our place is located at 133, Vithal Udyognagar, and it’s mostly just a lot of sand, metal, and heat. Working in a foundry isn't for everyone because it gets dirty and the air is always thick with the smell of casting. We spend most of our hours around the furnaces or cleaning up the molds after they’ve cooled down enough to touch. It’s the kind of work where you leave at the end of the day covered in dust, but it feels okay knowing the parts are done. We have a small team here and most people live nearby, so it feels a bit like a neighborhood spot even though we are doing industrial work. Sometimes the equipment acts up or a mold doesn't set quite right, so we just have to start over and fix it. We don't spend much time on computers or in fancy meetings. Most of the talking happens on the floor while we’re moving things around. The building itself has seen better days, but it serves its purpose well enough for what we do. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the production moving so we can stay on schedule with the orders that come in. It’s basic work, but it’s what we know how to do best after all these years of being in this part of town. We just take things as they come and try to stay productive.
