If you head down the Anand-Sojitra Road toward Vallabh Vidhyanagar, you will pass by our gates at Eimco Elecon. We have been part of this landscape for quite some time. The area has changed a lot, but the work we do with heavy machinery stays pretty much the same. It is a lot of metal, grease, and engineering. We are not the type of people who wear suits to work; most of us have dirt on our hands by noon. The facility here is large, and there is always the sound of machines running in the background. It is a rhythm we are used to. We build equipment that goes into mines and big construction sites. It is tough work, and it requires a lot of patience. Sometimes things do not go exactly as planned, but that is just how engineering is. We fix what is broken and keep building the new stuff. The road outside stays busy with trucks and commuters, but inside the gates, we focus on the task at hand. We are just a group of local people making things that last. We do not use big corporate slogans because they do not really mean much when you are trying to bolt a heavy part onto a chassis. We just show up, do the job right, and go home to our families in the evening. It is a simple life.
