Coppernix Metals

We started Coppernix Metals here in Shankertekri a long time ago. GIDC is always busy, trucks coming in and out, dust everywhere. We deal with metal parts, mostly copper stuff. The shed gets really hot in the summer, but that is how it goes when you work with machines. We have a few lathes and some old equipment that still works fine if you know how to handle it. People stop by 373/12 mostly because they know we get the job done without too much talk. It is not fancy. We have some oil stains on the floor and the walls could use a bit of paint, but we focus on the pieces we make. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, then we just sit outside and have some tea until it comes back. The neighborhood in Udyognagar is full of people doing the same kind of work. We know most of the guys in the other units. We spend most of our day checking dimensions and making sure the scrap is cleared out so nobody trips. It is just honest work. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. If you come looking for us, you’ll probably find me or one of the boys covered in a bit of grease. That is just how it is here. We have been at this address for years and don't plan on moving. It is home for us.
