Carewell Hospital

We have been here in Vadthal for a long time now. If you are coming from the direction of Ahmedabad, you will see our building right across from the GEB office. Most people just look for Swagat Restaurant first since it is a big landmark and we are right near it. It gets really busy on this road during the day with all the traffic passing by. Inside the hospital, we just try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. There is always someone coming in for something, whether it is a quick check-up or something more serious that needs a bed for a few days. Our nurses have been working here for years and they know most of the families around this part of town by name. It is not a fancy place, just a regular hospital where we do the work that needs doing. The building is a bit older, but we keep it clean for everyone who comes through. Sometimes the waiting area gets crowded in the mornings because everyone wants to be seen early before the heat gets too bad. We have the usual things you would expect, like doctors on call and a pharmacy for prescriptions. It is just how things are in a local place like this. You see the same faces at the tea stall outside too. We do not spend time on fancy talk, we just get to the patients. It is a long day for the staff, but we stay until the job is done.
