Bhautikclass

It’s pretty quiet here in Anand most of the time compared to the big cities. Bhautikclass is basically just a few plain rooms with some chairs and whiteboards. I spend a lot of time wiping down those boards at the end of the day. The markers always seem to run out right when you need them most. We started this because there wasn't much else around this part of town for the students who needed extra help. The room gets a bit stuffy in the afternoon heat, so we keep the old fans on full blast. You can hear them whirring while the kids are working on their test papers. Sometimes I look out the window and see the neighbors going about their daily business. It’s a simple life for us. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who actually know the subjects. I usually have a huge stack of books on my desk that I’ve been meaning to organize for several months now. Students come in with their heavy backpacks and they’re usually pretty tired from their regular school hours. We try to make things a bit easier for them if we can. There’s no big fancy entrance here, just a regular door with the company name on it. People in Anand know where to find us. It’s not about being the biggest place in town. We just want to make sure the kids actually understand what they're reading. At the end of the day, I lock up and go home.
