Our shop is right across from the Marketing Yard. It’s a busy spot, especially in the early mornings when the farmers and traders are all moving around with their goods. G. M. Mistry has been here for years, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit as more buildings went up. We mostly handle small-scale manufacturing and repair work. It’s a bit of a mix of everything, really. If something needs to be built or fixed, we usually take a look at it and see what we can do. The space is filled with tools and old parts we might need someday for a repair. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where the important stuff is kept. We don't bother with much advertising or marketing. People in the neighborhood just know us and stop by when they have a project that needs attention. We spend our days working with our hands, which is how we like it best. The noise from the Marketing Yard is constant throughout the day, but it’s just background noise to us now. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when things are slow and watch the trucks and tractors go by. It’s a simple life. We don't have any corporate goals or big plans, just to finish the work on the bench and make sure it’s done right. That’s enough to keep us busy from morning till evening. We usually shut the doors once the sun goes down.
