You can find Ballast Impex Private Limited at A1, Ambika Krupa, which is part of the Nilkamal Society in Anand. We are quite close to the Indira Statue, which is a big landmark around here. People use that statue to give directions all the time. Our office is more like a house that’s been turned into a workspace. It has a bit of a homey feel compared to a big office building. We like it that way. It’s quieter than being right on a main highway, though the society can get a little busy with people coming and going. Anand is a nice place to work. It’s not too fast but not too slow either. We spend our hours tracking shipments and talking to folks on the phone. Sometimes we sit out for a minute if the weather is okay, but mostly we’re inside working through our lists. We don't have any big corporate rules or fancy uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable and get the work finished. Sometimes the neighbor’s kids are playing outside, and you can hear them through the window. It’s just a normal environment. We don't use big words to describe what we do because it’s pretty straightforward. We manage the impex side of things from this small corner of Gujarat. It’s a steady routine for us, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the Nilkamal Society over the years.
