Ashirwad Surgical Hospital

Our hospital, Ashirwad Surgical Hospital, is on the second floor of Hariba Vyapar Bhuvan on J P Road. Being on the second floor means it is a bit quieter than the shops down on the ground level. There is a sign at the entrance of the building, and you can take the stairs or the elevator up. The space is used mostly for surgical cases and recovery afterwards. We have a few rows of chairs in the hallway for families to sit while they wait. It’s not a massive place, but we have enough room for what we do. J P Road is always busy, so there is plenty of noise from the rickshaws outside. Inside, we keep things as orderly as we can. The walls are a plain off-white color and we have some plants near the window that need watering. We aren't interested in being a big corporate hospital chain. We just provide a place for surgery and care for the people in this part of town. Sometimes the afternoon sun hits the windows and makes the recovery room quite bright. We just draw the curtains and keep going with our work. Most of our staff lives nearby, so they know the area well. It’s a local business run by local people who have been doing this for years.
