Amardeep Eye Hospital

We are located right on Mahaveer Road, just across from Sanjivani Hospital. Most people find our place that way because everyone knows where the bigger hospital is. This eye hospital has been operating here for a good while now. We spend most of our time looking at charts and testing people’s vision through various lenses. It’s a lot of sitting and checking how well someone can see the letters on the wall. The lobby has those standard plastic chairs, and we keep some old magazines out, though people mostly just look at their phones while waiting. My job involves a lot of daily paperwork and making sure the lights in the exam rooms are working correctly. The street outside is always noisy with traffic and horns. Being on Mahaveer Road means there is always something going on right outside our door. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside when the door stays open too long, so we are constantly dusting the front counter. We see a lot of elderly folks coming in for their regular checkups. They usually have a lot of stories to tell us while they wait for their turn. We don’t try to rush them too much because it’s a steady pace here. Nothing too fast, nothing too slow. If you need your eyes checked or some new glasses, this is where we work. We keep the equipment ready every morning. It’s a practical setup, focusing on what needs to be done each day. Some days we leave a bit late, and other days we get out right on time. It's just a local place for basic eye care.
