Rao & Shyam, Chartered Accountants

We've been operating out of this spot on G.V.K. Street in N.R. Peta for a good while. Most people in Anakapalli know the building, it's D.No. 3-5-44. Rao and Shyam started this together, and the office is mostly just rows of shelves filled with tax files and audit reports. It’s not a shiny corporate building, just a practical space where we can focus. Usually, the mornings are quiet until the post arrives. We handle a lot of the local accounts here. It’s a lot of manual work sometimes, even with the computers. You can hear the street noise from the window, but we’re used to it by now. The tea from the shop downstairs is what keeps us going through the long afternoons. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just hear about us and walk in. The desks are always covered in papers, especially when the year-end comes around. It gets a bit chaotic then, but we manage. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it is here. We try to keep things straightforward. No fancy talk, just looking at the figures and making sure the math adds up. It's a steady life working as accountants in this part of town. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years while we stayed right here in this office on G.V.K. Street.
