Down here on Anakapalli Road in Bheemaboyinapalem, things move at a steady pace. We are Netafim India Pvt Ltd, and we spend most of our time dealing with irrigation setups and helping farmers around this part of the country. The office is located at 4-7-15, and it’s usually quite busy with people coming in to ask about parts or how to fix a leak in their lines. It isn’t always quiet, especially when the planting season starts and everyone is in a hurry. We spend a lot of time out in the fields too, not just sitting behind a desk. It can get really hot during the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy work done early. Some days the paperwork piles up, but we’d rather be out checking on the equipment. We've got a small team here who knows the local land pretty well. Sometimes we run out of specific fittings and have to wait for the truck from the main warehouse, which can be annoying for the customers, but we try to be clear about when stuff arrives. It’s a practical job. We aren't trying to do anything flashy, just making sure the water gets where it needs to go for the crops. It’s what we do day in and day out here in this corner of the state, just keeping the pipes running and the fields wet.
