Pfizer Pharma

We are based in the Sez Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City in Parawada. This is a very large industrial zone. It’s pretty far from the main city areas. You have to go through security gates to get inside the zone. It feels like its own little world of factories. Our unit is just one of many pharma companies here. The roads are wide and there are always trucks moving around. We have a lot of employees who come in on the company buses. It’s a very functional place. We don't have gardens or anything decorative. It’s all about the production lines and the labs. We have been at this site for several years now. The canteen is the main spot where everyone gathers during the lunch break. It’s a bit of a trek to get here every day but we are used to it. Parawada is very industrial so there isn't much else around. We spend our time checking batches and making sure the export paperwork is right. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work. We don't have a fancy office setup. It is just desks, computers, and a lot of steel equipment. We follow the rules of the SEZ and keep our heads down. Every day is pretty much the same routine of manufacturing and checking. It’s a huge area so we stay within our own compound.
