Pavan Bricks

Down in Payakaraopeta, specifically in the Durganagar area, is where you will find Pavan Bricks. We have been working this land for some time. The yard is usually full of red bricks drying out in the sun. It is a simple setup we have here. We don't have fancy offices or anything like that. Most of the time, you will find us wearing old clothes covered in red dust because that is just the nature of the job. The sun gets really hot in this part of the country, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before noon. Our guys are mostly locals who know the rhythm of the work. We watch the weather closely because a sudden rain can ruin a whole batch of raw bricks. That is the biggest headache we face. When the trucks arrive, it gets busy and loud with everyone shouting instructions to get things loaded up. Durganagar is a small place, so we know our neighbors and they know the sound of our tractors. We just focus on making enough to keep the yard running and the staff paid. It is a basic life, really. We don't use big words or make big promises. We just make the bricks and hope the kiln fires up right every time. It is just us, the soil, and the heat every single day for us at Payakaraopeta.
