My Home Industries Pvt Ltd. is set up along Yelamanchali Road in Mulakalpally Village. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but we have the space we need for the manufacturing work we do. Even though the name has 'Pvt Ltd' in it, we still feel like a local operation because most of the people working here are from the nearby villages. The facility is big and functional, designed for production rather than looking pretty for visitors. We spend our days managing the machinery and making sure everything is running the way it should be. It can get pretty loud inside when the machines are all going at once. We don't have a bunch of fancy executives in suits walking around; most of us are in the thick of it on the floor. The road outside can be quiet at times, then suddenly get busy with transport trucks coming to pick up our products. We’ve been part of the Mulakalpally landscape for some time now. It’s a practical place where we focus on the task at hand. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. We just let the work speak for itself. It’s about keeping the lines moving and making sure the staff is doing okay. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or what's happening in the village. It’s just a group of people working together to make a living out on Yelamanchali Road. We don't overcomplicate things; we just work.
