You can find us in Bank Colony, over in the Sarai Neera area. It’s a decent spot, right near the Shiv Mandir. On Monday mornings, the bells from the temple start early, and it’s actually a nice way to begin the work week. We are also close to the Post Office Chhipatti, which makes it easy when we have to send out samples or documents. Our business is flavors and fragrances, so the air inside always smells like a mix of things—maybe vanilla one hour and then something like rose or pine the next. It’s a bit strange for visitors, but we don’t even notice it anymore. The building is a simple structure, nothing fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, we have rows of glass bottles and small scales for weighing things out. It’s quiet work, mostly. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone shouting about how great we are. We just focus on getting the scents right for the people who buy from us. Some of our customers have been coming here since we first opened up shop. The colony itself is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down and not bother the neighbors too much. Sometimes the local cows wander near the entrance, and we have to shoo them away so the gate can close properly. It’s just how life goes in this part of town.
