N. S.Food & Spices Co.

If you are driving along National Highway No.4 near Jyotiba Phule Nagar, you might see N. S. Food & Spices Co. We are located right in that area within the Amroha district. The highway is always humming with the sound of trucks and cars passing by at all hours. Our building sits close enough to the road that you can feel the vibration when the big rigs go past. Inside, the air is thick with the smell of different spices. It is a strong scent that stays in your clothes even after you go home for the day. We spend most of our time processing and packing spices into bags. It is dusty work, and we all wear aprons to keep our clothes somewhat clean. The sun hits the front of the building in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We usually keep the back doors open to let some air circulate through the workspace. We do not have any fancy machines; it is mostly older equipment that we have learned to fix ourselves when it breaks down. The staff here is small, and we mostly just focus on getting the orders ready for the trucks that pull in off the NH4. Amroha is a good place for this kind of work. It is not always easy, especially when the heat is high, but we keep the grinders going and the bags moving regardless of the weather outside or the noise from the highway.
