Agarwal Trading Company Amroha

We’re down on Kot Street at Agarwal Trading Company Amroha. This part of town is pretty old and the streets are narrow. It makes it hard for big vehicles to get through, so we do a lot of unloading by hand or with small carts. We trade all sorts of things, mostly whatever is in demand locally. One week it might be grains, and the next it might be something else entirely. We just go with whatever is happening in the market. The building we’re in has been around for a long time. It has thick walls that keep it cool even when it’s boiling outside. We have a small area in the front where we talk to people and a bigger space in the back for storage. It’s usually dusty because of all the goods moving through. We don't really have set hours; we’re usually there if the lights are on. Most of the people on Kot Street are like us, just trying to make a living. We help each other out when someone needs an extra hand with a heavy load. We don't use much technology. A calculator and a notebook are usually enough for what we do. It’s worked for us for years, so we don't see much reason to change it now. We just keep an eye on the prices and try to do fair business with everyone. Our neighbor sometimes drops by with tea in the afternoons while we wait.
