Kirit And Company is situated on Atrasi Road in Hasanpur, right near the railway crossing. That crossing is a big part of our daily life because everything stops when the trains come through. It’s a good place to be because a lot of people pass by on their way into or out of town. Our business is quite simple and we’ve been at this spot for years. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything like that. Usually, people just know us by the name and the location on Atrasi Road. The work involves a lot of manual handling of goods and keeping track of inventory in the store. It can get a bit dusty with the road right there, and the noise of the trains is something you just stop noticing after a while. We aren't a big corporation with lots of rules. It’s a local operation where we just try to be helpful and get the orders right. Sometimes the deliveries are a bit slow because of the traffic at the crossing, but we manage. We spend a lot of time just chatting with the regular customers who stop by. It’s an honest, everyday kind of business. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that; we just open up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and close up when the work is finished for the day.
