Our office is located at House Number 466 in Ward Number 13, over in Salempur Gusai. This is part of the Gajraula area in Amroha. It is a regular house that we use for the business. Jagwati Mutual Benefit Nidhi Limited has its name on a small plate by the entrance. Inside, it feels very much like a home. We have a main room where the desks are set up. There is usually a smell of cooking coming from nearby houses during lunchtime. We sit here and handle the paperwork for the folks in the neighborhood. It is a quiet street, mostly. You hear kids playing outside or a tractor going by now and then. We don't have any fancy computers or anything. We mostly use books and registers to keep track of everything. It takes a bit more time, but we like doing it that way. If someone stops by, we usually offer them a glass of water while we look for their files. The shelves are full of thick folders that we’ve filled up over the years. It’s a small operation run by local people. We aren't trying to be anything big. We just want to make sure the work gets done correctly for everyone in Salempur Gusai. Most days are the same, just steady work and talking to the people we see every week at the office.
