We are right at the Main Chowk in Ghas Mandi. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always something going on right outside our doors. People are constantly walking by, bikes are honking, and the whole place feels very alive. Inside the shop, we have racks of clothes and some mirrors propped up against the walls. We don't have a fancy interior designer or anything; we just put the clothes where they fit. We sell a bit of everything, mostly stuff that people around here want to wear for weddings or just for daily use. It can get pretty crowded on the weekends, and the fans are always spinning to keep the place from getting too stuffy. We spend a lot of time helping people find the right size or showing them different colors. It is a lot of folding and unfolding. The light in the shop isn't the best, but we make do. We’ve been at the Main Chowk for a long time, so we know all the other shopkeepers around Ghas Mandi. Sometimes we stand out front for a bit just to watch the traffic. It’s a simple retail life. We don't use any high-tech systems, just a cash drawer and a book to write down the sales. It is just a place for people to pick up some new clothes without any fuss, and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces come back year after year. Every morning starts with a quick sweep of the front step.
